Why do I write?

To make myself a better writer. I read someplace, sometime ago, that every person has a certain amount of garbage that he has to write to get down to the good stuff... the good writing, which is inside everyone. I think another way to say that is that the more garbage a person writes, the more likely that he will improve. I will write here to keep my law school writing from becoming dry but add polish, and to keep my here writings from becoming legal but add spice. That is what I hope.

My sine qua non

sine qua non \sin-ih-kwah-NON; -NOHN; sy-nih-kway-\, noun: An essential condition or element; an indispensable thing.

Why do you think Holly is on my page so much? (Although, not a thing, unless you call her a beautiful thing in the world...but, still, calling anyone a "thing" is a strech. Give me a break, it's latin!)

What are my writing styles?

There are several roles of writing that I use. The first is creative, the unorganized, stream of consciousness style which is whimsical, and, hopefully, sometimes funny. The next style which somewhat refines the creativity is the structural builder who organizes the creators thoughts into a set of coherrent ideas. If I have time, I'll also use a groundskeeper to smooth my writing and clean the rough spots to give a well polished, easy reading, depiction of my ideas. Can you figure which posts are written in which style? Enjoy.
